Who we are
TACTAG ("TACTAG," "we," "us") operates tactag.app and related tools and services, including an SMS messaging program. TACTAG is operated as a sole proprietorship. You can reach us at hello@tactag.app.
This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the tactag.app website and to the TACTAG SMS program described below.
Information we collect
- Account and contact information — such as your name, email address, and mobile phone number, when you provide them to create an account, sign in, or opt in to text messages.
- SMS program records — your mobile number, opt-in keyword, timestamps of opt-in and opt-out events, and message delivery logs.
- Usage information — basic technical information such as browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site running and secure.
How we use information
- To operate and secure our services, including sending one-time login codes (OTP) by SMS.
- To send field coordination messages you have opted in to receive.
- To maintain required consent records for the SMS program.
- To respond when you contact us.
We do not sell your personal information.
SMS / text messaging program
By texting JOIN to (509) 572-9212, you consent to receive text messages from TACTAG, including one-time login codes and occasional field coordination alerts (such as schedule and assignment updates).
- Message frequency varies. Login codes are sent per sign-in attempt; coordination alerts are occasional.
- Message and data rates may apply. Rates are determined by your mobile carrier.
- Opt out at any time by replying
STOP. You will receive one final message confirming your opt-out. - Get help by replying
HELPor emailing hello@tactag.app. - Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No sharing of mobile information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with any third parties.
Sharing of information
We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf to deliver our services — for example, our SMS delivery provider (Twilio) and our hosting providers — and only as needed to provide those services. These providers are not permitted to use your information for their own marketing.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or security of TACTAG, our users, or others.
Data retention and security
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, including maintaining SMS consent records for as long as you remain opted in and for a reasonable period afterward as required for compliance. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information.
Your choices

STOP. - Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@tactag.app.
Children
Our services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
